Who we are
Dice-Dogs is a northern New Jersey based tabletop wargaming club founded by a bunch of guys who wanted an excuse to play games every Monday night until we're all too tired to keep chucking dice. We meet every Monday at Time Warp Comics & Games, in lovely Cedar Grove and we also play on Tues at Maplewood Hobbies in Maplewood NJ! We play Games Workshop stuff, including Warhammer Fantasy Battle, WH40K, Necromunda, Mordheim, Bloodbowl, Flames of War and are getting more into historicals and other tapletop games weekly. We usually get rolling (pun intended), between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m and play till the store closes. So come by and roll with the Dogs.
What we're up to
News - January 2010 – Right now the DiceDogs are starting up a warhammer histoical - Legends of the Old West Campaign over the next few weeks we will busy robbing banks, stage coach robbing and causing trouble in the town saloon. Intersted in playing? Dust off your old mini's and come and play! League details and standing are available here on our boards. Interested in joining? Stop by on a Monday night or post on the boards.
News - As usual, we are gearing up for more .45 ADVENTURE and Rattrap Productions Games!! Thanks to Rich Johnson for running an awesome games on tues in the last few months! We are definately going to be playing more in the upcoming months! .45 Adventure is a tabletop miniatures game of two-fisted action set during the era of the pulp magazines. Players can take on the roles of colorful heroes or unscrupulous villains. With Tommy guns, Heaters, and Gats they can fight their way through the minions of crime or seek to control the world. News - January 2010: We're gearing up for CONFLICT GT!!
Looking ahead, the DiceDogs will be hosting moe Flames of War Tournaments and Warhammer Fantasy Rogue Traders at Timewarp Comics or Maplewood Hobbies sometime in the near future. We will also be experimenting with Uncharted Seas as well as Warhammer Historicals! Stay tuned for details!
What we're about
Dice Dogs is a social gaming group: our emphasis is on having a good time with friends. We sometimes play in tournaments, sometimes host events, have been known to make a splash at the odd convention, but most of all we're a bunch of folks who are into the various aspects of the miniature gaming hobby who also happen to enjoy hanging out together.
